Support Dogs for Veterans and First Responders
Founder, Head Trainer, President
Emily attended the world famous Tom Rose School for Dog Training, completing both the Professional's and Master's course with the hopes of one day to train rescue dogs for our veterans. With over 12 years of training pets, protection dogs, military and police canines, and therapy dogs in Chicago, she decided it was time to do more.

Bio coming soon
"I currently work as an IT Manager for a large health care provider and bring years of experience in business management and technology to this organization.
My love for dogs and desire to help those who have served our country is what drives me."
Department Chair of Fundraising
From a young age I have had a love for dogs. From being an active triathlete/runner to having a masters degree in education, I have seen how a dog can help brighten a room. Currently I work for Jefferson County Department of Parks and Recreation.
With my work experience and years of volunteering at local shelters, I have a passion to help volunteer with fundraisers, marketing, and just helping with the pups.
Social Media Director
My name is Allison Sadler and I am currently a student at Missouri State University pursuing a degree in Marketing/Advertising. I am excited to be running the GatewayK9 social media platforms to gain hands on experience in my field of study. My favorite things include painting, hanging with family and friends, and most importantly, dogs! I’m so excited to be working with an organization like GatewayK9 not only because of the dogs but because of the positive impact they are making in the lives of veterans/first responders.
